POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Our goal is to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable excursion with Xplore Rentals! The policies listed here are our guidelines for operation. Please review these policies at your leisure, and if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us and we will do our very best to address them. Thank you.

Safety

Your safety is our number one concern. Driving an ATV, Side x Side or Onewheel is a very enjoyable experience, and ATV’s, Side x Side’s and Onewheel’s can take you places you otherwise could not visit. When operated correctly, ATV’s Side x Side’s and Onewheel’s can be less dangerous. However, when not operated correctly, these machines can be very dangerous. We help ensure that our ATV’s, Side x Side’s, Onewheel’s are operated correctly by providing the following.

1. Pre-ride safety instructions
2. Hands-on riding instructions under the supervision of the guides
3. Options to be a driver or passenger
4. If at any time during the tour a guide feels that you are being reckless, they may end your tour without a refund

Medical

Guides are equipped with cell phones in case of a medical emergency. We will be in cell phone range most of the time. Pregnant women are not allowed on these rides. If you have neck, back, or other recurring medical concerns, your doctor should be consulted before booking a tour. We will be miles from any medical facility. Please understand that ATV’s, Side x Side’s and Onewheels are very dangerous, and an accident can cause severe injury and/or death.

Drivers and Passengers

It is mandatory that all drivers be at least 21 years old and present a valid driver’s license. Any person under 18 must have a signed minor consent liability waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian, no exceptions! Passengers in the side-by-side must be at least 5 years old.
On Atv’s and Side x Side’s a $1,000 dollar deposit on all machine rentals is required at the time of check-in and will need to be authorization on your credit card prior to the tour departure. Pictures are taken of your designated Atv or Side x Side machine during the check-in process prior to your departure. When you bring the machine back in the same condition it left in, your deposit authorization will be lifted. In the rare instance there was damage to your rental machine we will prepare an estimate and return any remaining deposit. Driving carefully on the trails can assure no damage will occur.
Onewheels – On Onewheel’s a $250 deposit is required at time of rental and will need to be authorized on your credit card before the Onewheel is checked-out. Once the rental is complete, the operational Onewheel and the Safety Gear is returned in its original state the deposit authorization will be lifted. If the Onewheel is not returned, a charge for the Onewheel and Safety Gear will be charged in the amount of $2,000 to the credit card on file and the prorate share will not be refunded until the board is returned in its original state. Please understand the daily rental fee applies for everyday the Onewheel is past the original rental return date and daily rental fee will be deducted from the $2,000 charge.

Clothing

Western Pennsylvania’s weather can be challenging. Though we have very pleasant summers, you should prepare for cool
weather. Wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. Boots or tennis shoes are required. Sandals, flip-flops, or any kind of open-toed
shoes are not allowed! We do not cancel rides for weather. We provide helmets and eye protection. IT IS RECOMMENED TO BRING A CHANGE OF CLOTHES.

Snacks, Electronics, and Payment

  • There are complimentary drinks provided. Lunch is provided on only on our Sunrise Day Tour. You can bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic drinks if you choose. Drinks must be in a plastic container. No glass! Each ATV has some storage room for your smaller items.
  • Remember you are riding off-road. Any valuables, keys, electronics, etc. can be lost on the trails, in mud, or puddles. Bring
    only what you really need. We are not responsible for damaged or lost items.
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and cash. Payments must be made in full at the time of
    reservation.

Cancellation and Liability

1. We ask that you be fully committed to having the most exciting time with Xplore Rentals when you make your reservation.
Please understand that when you make a reservation, you are taking a machine out of inventory giving us the inability to rent
the machine to others. This is why we do not offer refunds. We do however allow for rescheduling. You must notify us 72
hours in advance to reschedule your tour if something were to arise that would keep you from completing your rental
experience. This means any tours booked within 72 hours of the tour date are non-refundable.

2. It is required to read and sign the rental liability form and facility waiver form for each person before you can proceed with the
tour. The forms are available at Xplore-rentals.com and need to be completed ahead of your arrival.
